Radio Pop doesn't just exist on this website. We've created some widgets for you to download that let you listen through Radio Pop on your desktop, show off your latest listening on your blog or even build your own applications to extend Radio Pop where you want it to go.
This widget lets you use Radio Pop from your desktop. Listen to live radio streams and hit the Pop button when you're listening and you hear something you like or just want to remember it.
System requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or later | Version 0.2 (19th Sept 2008)
Download the widget
Add a badge to your blog or profile page to show what you're listening to right now and get people linking back to your very own Radio Pop page.
Please log-in to get the badge.
Chris Riley
Chris Riley's Track Playing service, which shows live contextual information around the current track playing on the BBC's music stations, now has built-in Radio Pop support for tracking your listening and pops.
We've built Radio Pop so that you have easy access to the data and can build your own widgets, badges or other applications. You can find out more on our API page.
Another of our recent projects at BBC Radio Labs is the Olinda radio. Olinda is a prototype digital radio that we have built that includes innovative features like modularity and social networking in a physical device. In fact, it has Radio Pop support built right into it. Read more on our blog.
